Sports Media Opportunities for Women In India

ABC International Development (ABCID), supported by the Australian High Commission in India, is teaming up with Cricket Australia to provide training and opportunities for female sports journalists, broadcasters, content creators and/or women with extensive cricket knowledge, from across India, to develop skills in commentary, digital content creation, reporting and presenting.

The program will comprise 3 components:

  • Online training (4 x1-hour sessions in late August 2024)
  • Workshops and training sessions in Delhi, India (5 days: September 23 – 27, 2024)
  • Workshops and training opportunities at cricket events in Melbourne, Australia (one week in mid-late November 2024 TBC)

You will get to train under Rica Roy, Consultant Editor of NDTV and Lead, Special Projects Aspire For Her along with trainers from ABC-Australia.
