I had never stepped out of the house to earn a living, so how could I run a business? That’s when I joined #NotAlone, where I got the advantage of learning resources, English language classes, sessions on developing business skills and more. I cannot believe the support I received at Aspire For Her. Even your own relatives don’t always support you like that.

I am retired now, and my kids have grown up. I am fortunate enough that I did not need that money. I am glad to have been able to carry on my mother’s wishes and enable a young girl to complete her education.
A one-week challenge and success in receiving a major certification
I challenged myself to take the AWS Cloud Practitioner’s Certification Exam. I booked the exam for one week later and worked backwards to prepare. Aspire For Her’s AWS SheDares program offered me all the resources I needed – and the success stories from the program gave me added motivation. After a week, I sat for the exam and cleared it.
Battling depression, breaking Guinness World Records & breaking into the tech field
I knew I needed some mentoring – so I signed up for Aspire For Her. I didn’t belong to the tech field but I took a leap of faith and registered for some AWS courses through SheDares. I gained tech knowledge, new skills and industry know-how. I could see myself getting more confident and I started speaking up like never before.
A 16 year work gap, a family crisis and a career comeback with a dream company!
The community at Aspire For Her and SheDares India truly motivated and encouraged me to strive towards my career goals. It was my dream to get a job at Amazon – and with their support and learning opportunities, I did it!
It would be unfair for me just to say thank you for the overwhelming love and warmth I’ve been given for the last 2 days. Endless phone calls with heartwarming wishes – everything has certainly pushed me to believe I’m not alone. But since the last 2 days, I really do feel like I’m not as lonely as I thought I was. I do have so many of you to thank and count on for believing in me. I can’t explain how much this has boosted me, and I don’t know how I can return this love but I promise I am not gonna let you all down.
There are people like all of you at Aspire For Her who give us the strength that we need to face day-to-day problems. I look at you and I am proud. After so many battles faced, some lost, others victorious, I find you a complete winner standing there with a lot of faith.

I take this opportunity to thank you wholeheartedly for every effort taken to groom the Cohort members. It is very difficult to find a platform like this now-a-days because everyone expects monetary benefits in return. In the current scenario, people have lost that humane touch. And Aspire For Her is like a bridge that helps every woman reach their goals by crossing hurdles. I really liked the purpose of the team, which is to work for the upliftment of every woman. The Aspire For Her platform is really big and I am really excited to be a part of the family.
